1. Overview
Daprinti operates an online marketplace that connects independent Sellers who offer digital 3D model files with Buyers who purchase them.All payments are processed securely through Stripe, which automatically splits funds between Sellers and Daprinti at the time of purchase.Because digital files are delivered instantly and cannot be physically returned, refunds are generally limited and handled by Sellers directly.In specific circumstances, Daprinti may intervene and provide a refund at its discretion.
2. General Principles
Daprinti is not the seller of record for user-generated content.
Sellers are independent entities responsible for their listings, product quality, and refund decisions.
Daprinti provides the technical platform and payment processing only.
Refunds and disputes are primarily handled through Stripe, which transfers funds directly between Buyer and Seller.
3. Seller Refund Responsibility
Refunds are the responsibility of the Seller. Sellers may choose to issue a full or partial refund through their Stripe account in cases such as:
The file is corrupted, incomplete, or not as described;
The Buyer cannot access or download the file;
The file is proven to violate copyright or platform rules.
Stripe processing fees are not refunded to the Seller by Stripe once a transaction is completed.
Daprinti does not control Seller payouts or issue refunds on their behalf except as described in Section
4. Daprinti-Initiated Refunds and Disputes
Daprinti does not hold Seller funds and cannot unilaterally withdraw or reverse Seller payouts. However, in cases of valid dispute, Daprinti may coordinate with Stripe to process a refund or chargeback.
Daprinti may, at its sole discretion, provide a refund to a Buyer using Daprinti’s own funds when:
A Seller is unresponsive after multiple contact attempts,
A file is proven to be fraudulent, non-functional, or infringing,
The transaction violates Daprinti’s Terms of Use.
If Daprinti issues such a refund, it may later recover the equivalent amount from the Seller’s future platform fees or request repayment directly, but only if permitted by Stripe’s policies and applicable law.
Daprinti may also suspend or remove Seller accounts involved in repeated refund disputes, fraudulent behaviour, or policy violations.
5. Buyer Refund Process
Buyers who experience problems with a purchase should email [email protected] with:
The order number,
A clear description of the issue,
Screenshots or evidence of file problems.
Daprinti’s support team will review the case and contact the Seller. If the Seller agrees to refund, it will be processed through Stripe. If the Seller fails to respond within 7 days, Daprinti may escalate the issue and act under Section 4.
There is no direct messaging system between Buyers and Sellers on Daprinti. All refund communications must go through Daprinti Support.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not provided when:
The Buyer changes their mind or no longer needs the file;
The digital product matches its description and functions correctly;
The Buyer’s printer, software, or system is incompatible;
The Buyer has already used, printed, or modified the file;
Fraudulent or abusive refund claims are made.
Digital content is non-returnable once downloaded or accessed.
7. Stripe Disputes and Chargebacks
Buyers can open disputes directly through Stripe for unauthorised or fraudulent transactions.
Stripe will review the case and may deduct the disputed amount (and fees) from the Seller’s Stripe balance if the claim is upheld.
Daprinti assists Stripe by providing transaction data but does not make final decisions on chargeback outcomes.
8. Refund Timeframes
Refunds issued by Sellers or Stripe are processed immediately but may take 5–10 business days to appear on a Buyer’s statement.
Daprinti-issued goodwill refunds follow the same timeframe.
Refunds are always made to the original payment method.
9. Platform Fees and Taxes
Daprinti’s 10% platform commission and Stripe processing fees are non-refundable after successful payment.
In exceptional cases where Daprinti refunds a Buyer directly, Daprinti may waive its commission at its discretion.
Sellers are responsible for any applicable taxes and fees related to their income or refunds.
10. Abuse and Fraud Prevention
Daprinti reserves the right to:
Deny refund requests in cases of abuse or misuse;
Suspend Sellers or Buyers involved in repeated refund disputes or fraudulent activity;
Report fraudulent activity to Stripe or relevant legal authorities.
